Barcelona plan Premier League raid as blaugrana scout Spurs and Man Utd stars

Barcelona’s technical director Robert Fernandez was in Madrid to scout Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen on Tuesday night but Spurs stars are not the only players that have been scouted by the blaugrana during the Champions League mid-week action.

Barcelona want to strengthen their midfield and attacking departments and Man Utd’s Anthony Martial has also been added in the blaugrana’s shopping list.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s Technical Director Robert Ferandez was in Lisbon yesterday to watch the French winger in action.

Martinal was linked with a move to Inter in the summer but Barcelona have now emerged as possible suitors for the former Lyon star who, however, played only 14 minutes yesterday.

The 21-year-old has had a good start to the season with five goals and six assists in the opening 11 games of the season and Martial’s improvements have been noticed by Barcelona. The Catalan paper reports Martial would be open to move to Barcelona although the player is happy with his game time in the current campaign.
