Bayern Munich aren't having the best of times recently as they just sacked Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti. The team is currently second in the Bundesliga standings as they are 5 points off Borussia Dortmund. Bayern also lost to PSG by a 3-0 score line in the UEFA Champions league (with goals from Cavani, Neymar and Mbappé) which was the main reason why Ancelotti left the club.

As Bayern are struggling a bit, teams would like to try and take advantage of their situation. According to Corriere dello Sport (via Mundo Deportivo), Inter Milan will make another strong attempt for Arturo Vidal come January. The Chilean star's contract will expire in 2019 and contract renewal talks have been stalling of late. The Nerazzurri club would be willing to take him on loan for 6 months with an option/obligation to buy come summer 2018.
