Sampdoria have many top players included in their squad. The likes of Lucas Torreira and Dennis Praet, in particular, have been claiming the spotlight this season with some impressive performances for the blucerchiati.
 
Praet is being linked with a move to Newcastle but the Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that the Belgian won’t leave the Marassi in the January transfer window. Praet, in fact, has a € 20 million release clause included in his contract with is only valid from the end of the season.
 
Sampdoria have no need of fresh cash having sold the likes of Patrik Schick, Milan Skriniar and Luis Muriel in the summer so they don’t need to sell another one of their top stars in the winter transfer window.
 
The blucerchiati, however, are known to be a selling club and there is no doubt Praet will be allowed to if any club match his release fee.
 
Praet joined Sampdoria from Anderlecht in summer 2016 for € 10 million.
