Former Juventus player names the next Conte

Antonio Conte is regarded as one of the best managers in the world at the moment. The former Juventus player has begun his managerial career in Italy’s lower divisions and has gone on to become one of the most successful managers in the world thanks to his triumphs with Juventus and Chelsea.

Former Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie knows Conte very well as the duo won the 2011/12 Serie A title with Juventus.

De Ceglie, whose contract with the Old Lady expired in June, has talked to Laziopress.it about the incoming game between Juve and Lazio.

“Juventus are the best club in Italy and they are the favourites for Saturday. Lazio, however, are a threatening side and Lazio can win as they proved in the Supercup final.”

“I don’t know [Lazio manager] Inzaghi personally but he is proving to be a great manager. He is similar to Conte because he manages to give his players the right mentality, I really like him. Lazio should keep a close eye on Alex Sandro, he is one of the best left-backs in the world.”
