Former Liverpool player reveals ‘why Juventus should sign Emre Can’

Juventus are long time admirers of Liverpool star Emre Can. Beppe Marotta confirmed to calciomercato.com in August that the Old Lady is interested in the Germany International and the player has recently revealed that the Serie A giants have made an offer to sign him.

Juventus aim to reach an agreement with the 23-year-old in January so that the player can join the Allianz Stadium in July as a free agent.

Once the Serie A giants have reached an agreement with Can, however, Juve could also make one last offer to Liverpool trying to lure him from Anfield Road in the winter transfer window.

Former Liverpool (and Juventus) goalkeeper Alex Manninger knows both clubs very well and is also an admirer and a former teammate of Emre Can.
The former Austria International revealed why the Serie A giants should make an attempt to sign the German.

“He [Can] is young and is a player I’ve always admired”, Manninger said (as quoted by ilbianconero).

“He is still young but is already very strong. He plays like a veteran. He knows how to defend and how to score goals. Can is a winner and Juventus will make no mistake if they sign him. He has great charisma and never wants to lose. He has Turkish blood but German technique.”
