Ibrahimovic will make Man United return a lot earlier than expected

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could return from Manchester United earlier than expected, according to the latest reports.

The former Inter, Real Madrid, PSG and Milan striker was a sensation at Old Trafford last season, scoring 17 Premier League goals and adding five assists before going down to a cruciate ligament injury.

Initially believed to be due to return early next year, he is now expected to be back for the clash with Arsenal on December second.

The injury looked to have ended the 36-year-old’s career, with the Red Devils refusing to extend his contract and signing €82.2 million striker Romelu Lukaku instead.

Though Lukaku has scored seven goals in as many Premier League games so far, Jose Mourinho respects Ibra, and wants to leverage his experience to lead the Red Devils to a title.

Man United are doing well this season, and are second in the table, just one goal short of rivals Man City in the table.
