Torino took an improbable lead in the 60th minute off the foot of Iago Falque, who had been relatively quiet until that moment. After receiving a pass at the top of the right side of the box, he danced through three Inter defenders before depositing a curler behind Samir Handanovic.

However, Eder came off the bench to play hero as he salvaged a point by scoring from in close in the 79th minute. Inter blew the opportunity to take, at least, a temporary lead in Serie A with only one point. It will be rued as a missed opportunity for the Nerazzuri.
