Juventus make opening €40m bid for Serie A star

Juventus are set to make an opening bid to sign Chelsea and Inter target Federico Bernardeschi. The Italian is believed to have a bright future ahead of him and he proved his value in the U21 European Championship which saw Italy being eliminated in the semi-finals at hands of Spain.

Bernardeschi has been offered a contract extension by Fiorentina but he has put new contract talks on hold as he’s aware of the interest of some of the best European clubs including Inter and Chelsea.

The player, however, is believed to have already given green light to his move to Turin and the Serie A giants are now trying to reach an agreement with Fiorentina.

Now that Italy have been eliminated from  the U21 European Championship, Juventus will officially begun their hunt for the talented attacking midfielder, according to reports in Italy.
