Juventus want €55m for Chelsea target

Juventus want at least 55 million for Leonardo Bonucci, according to our sources.

Chelsea are targeting the Italian international alongside fullback Alex Sandro, who has starred in Turin over the last two seasons.

Juventus Coach Max Allegri recently opened to the defender, saying that he was “a future leader” of the Old Lady.

Against Porto [for which Bonucci had been suspended by the Coach] we played a good game, then after two days Bonucci came back because he is an important player, an extraordinary player and above all he must understand that he will be the future leader of the Juventus locker room,” Allegri confirmed.

Juventus are still expecting the Chelsea target to stay, while the situation with Alex Sandro seems to be more fluid. Either way, the Bianconeri are planning to build around Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Mehdi Benatia and Daniele Rugani.

With Mattia Caldara being allowed to remain at Atalanta for another season, they will need to know what Bonucci wants to do soon, lest they plunge into the transfer window again.
