Latest: Roma boss thinks of two unexpected changes ahead of Chelsea clash

Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco must deal with injuries ahead of the giallorossi Champions League clash against Chelsea tonight. The likes of Kostas Manolas, Patrik Schick and Gregoire Defrel are all injured and there are not too many changes Di Francesco can do in Roma’s line-up against Chelsea tonight.

Kevin Strootman has just recovered from an injury and may not be able to complete the game although he is expected to start.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport there are, however, two unexpected changes Di Francesco could to ahaed of tonight’s kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

Former Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons could make it into Roma’s starting XI in place of Daniele De Rossi who didn’t play well against Napoli on Saturday night.

Alessandro Florenzi could also be set for bench with Cengiz Under who could be starting from the first minute as attacking right winter.

Di Francesco has still a few hours left to take a final decision.
