Live updates: Chiellini and Allegri talks ahead of Juventus' UCL clash

Giorgio Chiellini and Max Allegri are talking ahead of Juventus’ Champions League clash against Sporting CP.

The defender is the first one to talk, our reporter in Turin Nicola Balice is attending the press conference in Vinovo.

“We must be patient, our objective is to be in race for all competitions in March. We’ve had a good start to the season apart from the last two games. We only have two less points than last season, but I am sure this group will react.”

“We hadn’t lost at home for very long time and of course we are disappointed. We must look beyond the result and react. Results do not depend on tactical systems. It was a difficult week-end also due to the previous games with the national team.”

“Our main objective is to win the Serie A title. We can only do well in Champions League if we play well in Italy. It’s a particular competition, we have to go step by step. My contract extension will not be an issue. I’ll take five minutes to find an agreement with them, coffee included. Now I am focused on the pitch, then I will think about it.”

“Bonucci? Everybody supports him here. We are on very good terms with him and we are sure he will get back on track although we hope he will arrive behind us in the table.”

Allegri: “We should not be depressed due to a defeat and a draw. We must work on our mistakes and avoid lack of concentration. It’s going to be a long campaign and a very tough one. Sporting are a good team, they are organized and they defend well. We will have to be patient, we know this is an important game for our future in the competition and we can make no mistakes.”
