Man Utd and AC Milan have only one of their players among Balon d’Or nominees

Manchester United and AC Milan have only had one of their players included in the Ballon d’Or nominees shortlist. France Football has released the full list of candidates today and it has emerged that David De Gea is the only Red Devil included in the list, whilst Leonardo Bonucci is the only rossoneri star among the nominees.

AC Milan rivals Juventus have got two of their players included in the list (Paulo Dybala and Gigi Buffon) whilst Real Madrid are the club with the most footballers included in the list: seven.
