Official: Roma star misses both Champions League clashes against Chelsea

Roma have issued a bulletin communicating the results of the medical examinations of defender Kostas Manolas. The Greek stopper, who came off injured in this past weekends Serie A clash against Napoli, has sustained a muscle injury and is expected to be out for at least 3 weeks.

The statement on the club's homepage reads in full:
"On Monday morning Kostas Manolas underwent medical examinations that revealed evidence of a Grade I strain of his left adductor longus (thigh) muscle. The Greek defender sustained the injury in the second half of Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Napoli."
