Real Madrid closing in on the signing of U21 Spain starlet

U 21 Spain International Dani Ceballos is one of the most promising players in Europe and the versatile Betis midfielder is proving his worth in the U21 European Championship. Ceballos was one of the best players on the pitch in Spain’s 3-1 over Italy in the semi-finals of the U21 European Championship and after his stunning display against the Azzurrini, Spanish journalist Alfredo Martinez revealed on Twitter that the 20-year-old is available for only € 9 million.
According to AS, however, the player’s release clause is € 15 million and Real Madrid are willing to pay as much to secure the player’s services in the summer.

The Spanish paper claims Real Madrid could even pay more than just € 15 million and could keep the player on loan at Betis for the next season.

The two parties are close to reaching an agreement, according to As, as the Merengues know competition could raise after Ceballos’ recent amazing displays with his U21 national team.
