This could be the last season of Zinedine Zidane in charge of Real Madrid. According to Mundo Deportivo the French tactician could decide to step down as the Merengues coach at the end of the season if France call him after the 2018 World Cup.

The contract of Didier Deschamps expires in 2018 and Zidane is aware that he is one of the most reliable candidates to take over the Blues after the World Cup.

Real Madrid executives are also aware that this could be the last season of Zidane in charge of the La Liga giants. The Frenchman has won two Champions Leagues, one La Liga title, two European supercups and one Club’s World Cup in his two-year spell at the Bernabeu.

Zidane will only take a decision over his future at the end of the season, if the French federation will call him, the Frenchman will leave Real Madrid to become the new boss of Les Blues.

Germany boss Jurgen Klopp is being linked with replacing Zidane at Real Madrid.
