AC Milan: Leonardo-Gazidis relationship deteriorates?

Today’s edition of Tuttosport reports that the relationship between Leonardo and Ivan Gazidis is deteriorating because of a few transfer choices made by the former Arsenal director.

AC Milan had tried to sign both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cesc Fabregas but according to the Turin-based paper, Gazidis stopped the signing of the duo causing Leonardo’s anger.

Leonardo and Gazidis don’t share most of the transfer choices that the club must make and this is the main reason why the relationship between them is not too solid right now.
Gazidis arrived at the club at the beginning of December.

The South-African director has been chosen by Elliott to restore AC Milan’s finances and start a solid path of economic and marketing growth outside Italy and in emerging markets like the US and China ones.

Leonardo was appointed AC Milan’s director of football last summer.

The Rossoneri will face Juventus in the Supercup final on the 16th of January.
