AC Milan won't give up on Carrasco amid positive signals, but Arsenal...

As explained by Leonardo himself during the press conference yesterday, AC Milan's mercato has stalled, as almost everything depends on the outcome of the UEFA situation.

On Friday, the Rossoneri will meet UEFA to find out more about the situation, having decided to appeal the second verdict to CAS as well. In any case, the management has set its sights on two players in particular: Sassuolu's Stefano Sensi and Dalian Yifang's Yannick Carrasco.

In regards to the Belgian, the deal has taken a positive turn in the last few hours, as Carrasco seems willing to lower his €10m salary demands in order to return to Europe. AC Milan are constantly monitoring the situation, having already delivered an offer through an intermediary: a paid loan with an option to buy, a solution that UEFA would allow.

However, time passes, which isn't exactly good considering the other clubs interested in Carrasco. In fact, Arsenal are quite serious in their pursuit of the player and should Milan not manage to convince Dalian Yifang about the loan, then the Gunners will be in pole position.
