Arsenal ready €38m bid for Roma star

Arsenal are looking to strengthen their defence in the summer. The Gunners have had a strong season offensively but defensive mishaps and struggles have left the North London side to fight a Europa League final in order to achieve Champions League qualification. In theory, Unai Emery would like to be able to qualify through the league next season and the club are preparing to add to several different areas of the team.

According to what has been reported by EstadioDeportivo.com, Unai Emery's defensive preference is Roma defender Kostas Manolas, who has been tipped for a move away from the capital city for some time now. Manolas is the club's top target and the reports indicate that Emery's Arsenal are ready to put €38m on the plate to sign the Greek defender.
