Arsenal star set for Juventus move; the details

In a move that has dominated headlines for the past week, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus - after the Welshman failed to agree on a new deal with the Gunners. It is said that Ramsey's wage demands were just too high for the North London club to justify and therefore he will be leaving.

Sky Sport are reporting that the deal is just signatures away from completion, with Ramsey's agent set to meet with Juve after the Supercoppa Italiana. At the moment, reports suggest the deal will go through in the summer, when the player's contract expires.

However, there is an outside chance that Juventus could get the deal done ahead of time, with Arsenal demanding around 20-25m to let the Welshman leave in January. First the supercoppa awaits Juventus but, afterwards, they will have to make several more key decisions that could affect the outcome of their season.

Ramsey will reportedly sign a five-year deal with the Bianconeri, with a contract of around 6.5-7m per season; with 1.5m in bonuses that can take his total wage to around €8.5m a season.
