Barcelona and Juve dealt blow as PSG set to complete double deal for Ajax stars

There may be a breakthrough in the transfer market telenovela including the two jewels of Ajax Frenkie De Jong and Matthis De Ligt, pursued by half of Europe, including the likes of Juventus and Barcelona. The Catalan side seemed on the verge of completing the double deal, but as reported by various Spanish sources, PSG would now be in pole position for the Dutch duo.

The sporting director of the French club, Antero Henrique, is in Amsterdam where he is set to close the deal for about 150 million euros with the  Dutch side. Despite the club being monitored by UEFA for Financial Fair Play irregularities, PSG are set to satisfy the demands of Ajax and both players on the economic side.

In particular, De Ligt, would have been convinced with an offer of 11 million euros per year. Some reports in Spain, meanwhile, maintain that in order to sign the two starlets, Barcelona are willing to sacrifice Neymar, who could be on his way back to Barcelona.
