France World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard will be playing for Bayern Munich from next season, the Germans’ director of football Hasan Salihamidzic revealed on Wednesday.
“I can confirm that the player will be joining the team on the 1st of July”, Salihamidzic said.

“He has signed a five-year deal”.

Manchester United, Liverpool but also Napoli had been linked with signing the France full-back who is going to join the Bavarians in the summer transfer window. Pavard’s versatility had attracted the Azzurri who are looking for a center-back and a full-back, two roles that Pavard can definitely cover.

Salihamidzic has also confirmed Bayern Munich’s interest in Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi. “He is an interesting player. He is young and with pace. He can adapt to our style of play and we are following him”.

Juventus are also interested in Hudson-Odoi but Chelsea won’t let him go for less than € 35/40 million.
