Fabio Maresca from Naples will be the referee of tomorrow evening’s match between Cagliari and Inter at the Sardegna Arena, replacing Fabrizio Mariani, who was originally appointed to head the match. In the VAR room there will be Michael Fabbri from Ravenna together with Fabiano Preti from Mantua. Last weekend the drama surrounding the usage of VAR was reignited, with some fans questioning some divisive calls made, especially in the Fiorentina-Napoli game and the Parma-Juventus game.
