According to the English tabloids, in the event that FIFA's transfer ban that has been imposed on Chelsea is overturned, then the Blues are ready to sign one of their midfielders on a permanent basis.

The rumours suggest that, should the ban be removed, then Chelsea are ready to buy Mateo Kovacic, who is currently on loan at the club from Real Madrid.
