Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has sustained a calf injury that has brought his involvement in the International Champions Cup into doubt.
Chiellini had been injured for a good part of the second half of this past season and the same injury has cropped up again now, as the Italian stopped at the Continassa in training earlier today.
He will remain at the training centre to nurse the injury and that has given hope to Merih Demiral in his attempt to play regular football at Juve. But it deals a blow to AC Milan's hopes of signing the Turk.
