Fabregas captains Chelsea in his last game for the Blues: his next destination is not AC Milan
05/01/2019, 16:00
Cesc Fabregas is ready to join Monaco. The Spaniard is playing his last game for the Blues ahead of his transfer to the Ligue 1 where his former team-mate Thierry Henry has convinced him to join the Monegasques who are struggling in the Ligue 1.

Fabregas will be joined in South France by the former Real Madrid star Pepe.

AC Milan had been trying to sign the former Arsenal and Barcelona star but Leonardo failed to convince Roman Abramovic who wanted to sell the player on a permanent deal and/or have guarantees that the Rossoneri would sign Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent deal at the end of the season. Chelsea fans have sent many messages to the Spaniard who has captained Chelsea for their FA Cup game against Not. Forrest.

Check out our gallery for Chelsea and Fabregas' social media posts ahead of the Spaniard's last game at Stamford Bridge.
