09/01/2019, 11:45
Roma starlet Nicolò Zaniolo was close to joining Juventus before the promising midfielder joined Inter.

The player’s father Igor has revealed the background story of his son’s transfer to Il Messaggero: “Nicolò was close to joining Juventus. The had been chasing him for the entire season, just like Koln and Villareal. They made an offer but Virtus Entella rejected it. Juve were so close to signing him but Inter made a bigger offer. The Nerazzurri offered € 1.8 million, they reached € 3.5 million with bonuses and they managed to sign Nicolò”.
