From Morata to Fabregas: Which Chelsea players can join Serie A in January

Serie A and Chelsea could become a very hot axis in the January transfer market, with many teams in Italy interested in players from Maurizio Sarri's team. One of the most interested teams is AC Milan, who are interested in a couple of players from the Stamford Bridge.

One of these is Cesc Fabregas, whose contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season and the player himself has complained about his lack of playing time under Sarri on numerous occasions. Negotiations with Milan are underway and the Spanish midfielder is one of the options for Leonardo to reinforce the team in the winter transfer session.

Another player who attracts interest from the San Siro, but also from Torino and Lazio, is Lucas Piazon, who has not featured for Sarri's side at all this season and has played for the reserve team. AC Milan's interest in the player in the player does not seem too serious, while Torino have reportedly entered talks with Chelsea to sign the player.

In the attack, two players, who once again interest AC Milan, are Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi, who is currently on loan at Valencia, which could be terminated in January. The Spanish striker has been disappointing under Maurizio Sarri and could arrive at the San Siro in a swap deal for Gonzalo Higuain, who is admired by the former Napoli coach greatly. This idea is reportedly mainly the idea of the English club, while Milan are not too keen on the idea. Batshuayi, on the other hand, is also a player who interests Roma in Serie A.

In the defence, on the other hand, Milan are looking at Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen, who is also in the viewfinder of Inter. However, with the emergency addition of Ignazio Abate in the centre-back role and the return to action of Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio, a move for a defender in January now seems unlikely for the Rossoneri. Moreover, Chelsea do not look open to a sale of Christensen, while Cahill could see out his contract with the club which expires at the end of the season and join a different English side.
