Giroud yet to agree length of contract with Inter

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is slowly but surely humping ship from one blue jersey to another, when he makes his expected move from the premier league to Italian side Inter.

Most of the details of the move have already been ironed out, with the fee with Chelsea falling around the 5-7 million euro region. It is also understood that the wages were not a problem either, in fact, Giroud was heard to have been happy to take a pay cut to move to Inter.

The Frenchman has several offers on his table from the Premier League and France, but has been adamant about joining Inter in the winter window.

There were suggestions that personal terms had been agreed between the club and the player, but according to French outlet L’Equipe, a road block has been hit.

Inter have offered an 18-month contract to the striker, but Giroud is pushing for an extra year on the deal.
