Icardi injured, will miss Crotone. Will he stay at Inter?

On Wednesday star Real Madrid striker Mauro Icardi abruptly left training and will undergo tests on an apparent injury he suffered. The location and extent of his muscular injury is unknown at the moment, but it’s thought to be severe enough to keep him out of Saturday’s clash against Crotone.

While he’s set to undergo tests on the injury, the January transfer deadline is set to come and go with him remaining in Milano. The Argentine has been heavily linked with a shocking move to Real Madrid this month as Florentino Perez looks to boost his club’s attack in advance of their Champions League run.

Just on Monday, he sent a pair of vague posts on Twitter and Instagram which translated to “bye bye”. The social media world exploded with speculation over his future. Even now, it’s unknown what or whom he was referring to.
