Inter-Benevento 6-2 FT, as Candreva and Martinez score a brace each

Inter Milan host Serie B side Benevento at San Siro this evening in the Coppa Italia, as Spalletti’s side look to breeze into the next round with relative ease to join the likes of Lazio, AC Milan and Juventus.

Inter come into the game in a fairly good run of form, sitting in 3rd in Serie A – whilst Benevento sit in 6th place in Serie B – after being relegated back down to the second flight last season. Benevento famously defeated AC Milan at San Siro last season so will be hoping to refound that form and use the underdog mentality to their advantage once again.
