Inter Milan fine Icardi for missing new year training
10/01/2019, 09:40
Inter Milan have made the decision to punish their captain and star forward Mauro Icardi, after the Argentine missed a plane that meant he was not present for the Nerazzurri's first training session of the year.

Inter can fine Icardi up to 5% of his monthly salary - the same criteria that was applied to Radja Nainggolan - after the Belgian midfielder attracted headlines for all the wrong reasons towards the end of 2018.

This will come as somewhat motivating news for the likes of Real Madrid, who have expressed an interest in signing the player - and could look to take advantage of any shred of unhappiness.
