Juve-Genoa meeting about Romero to be held; but Inter...

Juventus are still trying to sign Genoa's young Argentine defender Cristian Romero, who has been performing well for Genoa and rightfully attracted the interest of some of Italy's biggest clubs.

Stefano Sturaro looks set to join Genoa from Juventus and the Bianconeri thought is that this negotiation will allow them to broker a deal for Romero easier - accelerating the deal. A meeting is set to be held between the two clubs today as they look to discuss the terms of the deal for the Argentine but, after two days of negotiation already, the two clubs have failed to meet an agreement as of yet.

Genoa are said to be demanding around €20-€25m for Romero; whlst Juventus are barely prepared to pay half of that to the Rossoblu. In the meantime, as per reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are attempting to take advantage of the dragging-on negotations as they attempt to make their own move for the defender.
