AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie was heavily linked with a move away from the Rossoneri this summer, with a track involving a move to Premier League side Wolves suggested frequently within the final week of the English transfer window.

However, the closure of the Premier League window has, for the meantime, cemented Kessie's future at Milan; the Ivorian set to stay in Serie A for at least another season.
