Man United, City and Barcelona on alert as Inter star set to bid farewell in June

The renewal of Milan Skriniar has always been a complicated negotiation. The much-desired defender wanted a salary of 3.5 million euros, while the Nerazzurri were firm on their 2.5 million offer. The stand-by solution could lead to a sale and goodbye that could arrive next summer.

Last June, City, United and Barcelona reportedly offered about 60 million euros for the Slovakian defender. Inter sporting director Ausilio asked about 70-80 million and now with the arrival of Giuseppe Marotta, it could be easier to reach these figures, as the former Juventus director has excellent relations with intermediaries in Spain and England.

The candidates to replace Skriniar at Inter have been known for a very long time: Andersen (Sampdoria), Godin (Atletico), Vertonghen and Alderweireld (Tottenham).
