Manchester United to challenge Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona for Rabiot

Manchester United have today been brought into the frame for the signing of Adrien Rabiot, according to The Daily Mirror. The French playmaker is a wanted man around Europe, as his contract with PSG is due to expire in the summer. Juventus have been linked with him recently, and he fits their profile perfectly. Their reputation for signing players on free transfers is well known, with Ramsey already joining from Arsenal this summer, and Emre Can joining last year from Liverpool on a free transfer.

Rabiot has the quality to play anywhere in Europe. The only thing that has stopped him in recent years has been his mentality. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also reportedly keen to take a risk on the Frenchman, who was left out of France’s World Cup winning squad because of his poor attitude. With so many big clubs in the frame for his signature, he looks to be in a good negotiating position, and according to The Daily Mirror, Manchester United could find it hard to convince him to join them without the prospect of Champions League football to entice him.
