Mertens praises Nations League amid criticism

Belgium and Napoli striker Dries Mertens spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match against the Netherlands, expressing his delight over the newly-introduced Nations League, which has faced criticism as of late.

"The Netherlands is a fast team and this was proved against German. The Nations League is a fun competition; challenging but it's still good to play these matches.. Tomorrow we're the favourites," Mertens concluded.
