Milan still await CAS verdict whilst Inter get away scot-free

It has been announced today that Inter Milan have escaped any punishment or reprimanding from UEFA over their potential breach of the organisation's Financial Fair Play rules. This means that the Nerazzurri will be able to play a leading and free role in the summer transfer market, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

However, the grass is not quite as green for Inter's fierce city rivals AC Milan; the Rossoneri yet to hear back about their date for their appeal and theirs not amongst those hearings published by the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).

Milan must wait longer until the date of their appeal is announced; with it looking like the club could be facing a maximum punishment of a two year ban from UEFA competitions, as well as a monetary fine and limitations on their involvement in Europe before their ban; such as a potential restriction on squad size for next season's Europa League.
