Milan, Valencia declined option to sign Andrè Silva

According to Tuttosport, Valencia manager Marcelino García Toral declined the option to sign 23-year-old Portuguese striker Andrè Silva from Milan. The player spent last season on loan with Sevilla and started well, scoring seven goals in his first seven games, but then only managed another two goals for the rest of the season. Due to his unconvincing time in Spain, Marcelino didn’t want to take the risk on Silva, especially considering his roughly €20m price tag.
