Napoli, Ancelotti: ‘Thinking about Juventus can be demotivating’
22/12/2018, 19:05
Napoli were eventual 1-0 victors when they hosted Spal in Naples this afternoon, Carlo Ancelotti’s side taking an important three points to keep up the pressure on league leaders Juventus.
Speaking to Sky Sport after the game, Ancelotti said the following:
‘Meret? We had prepared for him to play in front of our fans, but also the other two goalkeepers did very well, both Karnezis and Ospina. Thinking about Juventus can be demotivating, but we need motivation. With new players entering the team, we have room for improvement, and in general this team must and can grow, we have some potential that we have yet to prove 100%. Here I am very well, I like it and I enjoy it, the management of this group is simple.’
