It is believed that the highly-rated left-back is a top priority for the Granata for the upcoming campaign and they clearly see him as a player which will improve the squad. 

 

However, the club hierarchy believe that Rui will only be persuaded to join the club if they qualify for the UEFA Europa League next season. Torino are currently placed on the seventh spot, two points behind sixth-placed AC Milan with just two matchdays to go.
