Neymar's Barcelona return: Psg star called former club ‘five times’

Neymar's PSG future does not seem to be very clear. According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian winger wants to return to Spain. He would have already called his former club Barcelona five times, reportedly begging them for a comeback in Blaugrana. MD also reports that Neymar’s father would have called both the president Bartomeu and several Barça managers, showing them their regret of initially departing the club and their desire to return to Barça. The first contacts would have occurred during the last months of the season and have continued very recently.

Despite the will of Neymar and his father, there is a legal issue to solve. The Brazilian, in fact, sued Barcelona claiming the second part of his bonus (30 million euros) which was reportedly agreed upon when Neymar initially signed for Barca years ago. Barca would have told Neymar that the first thing he has to do if he wants to come back to Spain is to withdraw his accusation. His response would have been negative since he does not want to renounce to 30 million euros.
