Former Italy star Andrea Pirlo has spoken about Daniele De Rossi's Roma farewell: "I've already said that Roma did a mistake, in my opinion. The club should have extended Daniele's contract because they will begin a new project next season and De Rossi would have been the right player to explain to the new guys what the club is and what it means playing for the Giallorossi. Roma is the only love of Daniele".
