Real Madrid and Barcelona's 'El Classico' for Napoli star
04/01/2019, 13:40
According to what has been reported by Il Mattino today, an 'El Classico' derby looks set to take place between Barcelona and Real Madrid for Napoli's Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Koulibaly is not just considered to be one of the best defenders in Italy but also one of the best in the world, with Barcelona having reportedly already had a bid rejected of €120m for the defender.

Manchester United have also expressed an interest in the talented centre-back but now the two Spanish sides look to have taken the lead and are to insist on the signing of Napoli's star man. Napoli are planning to extend Koulibaly's contract and announce said extension in February. However, they must prepare themselves for the Spanish assault; whether it be now or in the summer.
