Report: Rugani is close to renewing his Juve contract

After Alex Sandro, Juve are now reportedly looking to find deals to extend both Daniele Rugani and Mario Mandzukic's contracts with the club ahead of next season. As for Rugani, Juve's management see the young defender as a vital piece of their strategic long term roster plan as he has been doing well for the bianconeri when called upon.

Gazetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) have recently reported that a deal is inching closer between the involved parties as it seems like Daniele Rugani's new potential contract would see him make 3 million euros net per season as this new deal would only expire in 2023. Let's not forget that Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea have had a lot of interest in the young defender even if it seems like his future will in fact be with Juve.
