Roma’s talks with Sassuolo to finalise the transfer of Gregoire Defrel, their 28-year-old French striker, have led the two sides to also discuss Jeremie Boga, who the Roman club are interested in to replace the injured Diego Perotti. The 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder has been with Sassuolo for one season, impressing in midfield and Roma may hope the transfer of Defrel could assist in the negotiations for the player. Torino also like Boga but are behind Roma in the race.
