According to the annual research conducted by YouGove about the most appreciated men and women in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed Lionel Messi in fan preferences, placing himself first among sportsmen on the list.

Bill Gates leads the list, followed by Obama and the Juventus superstar is in seventh place, recovering three positions compared to last year. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi is in ninth place and has climbed two positions in the standings. In the middle of the two, quite curiously, there is the Dalai Lama.
