There is a transfer market derby in Genoa. According to Tuttosport via Calciomercato.com, in the Ligurian capital there is a battle to acquire 24-year-old Croatian winger Marko Pjaca, who is ready to leave Juventus. Sampdoria are currently in pole position to sign the World Cup finalist, who arrived in Turin from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016. The player has only managed 14 league appearances for the Bianconeri since his €23m arrival, spending time on loan to Schalke and Fiorentina.
