The Serie A 2018/2019 season goes into the archives, having recorded the best average attendance in nine years (solely looking at stadium visitors).
In fact, there were 9,525,758 fans in the stands (on average 25,068 per game), the best result since the 2009/10 season, which had an average of 25,375 spectators per game. Until now, 25K had not been exceeded in nine years.
