Mariusz Stępiński isn’t likely to be in Ferrara next season. The negotiations between SPAL and Chievo Verona for the 24-year-old Polish striker are slowing down after a tough set of discussions, and with the transfer window closing shortly, it seems more likely now than the forward will likely stay in Verona, although not at Chievo. Negotiations between Chievo and city rivals Hellas Verona are more likely to produce a deal that will see Stępiński stay in the topflight this season.
