Szczesny: 'Totti bigger than Roma but De Rossi was the real captain'
Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny spoke to Foot Truck about his time with Roma: "The love of Roma fans for Totti wasn't good for the club sometimes. When things weren't going well he entered the pitch and a new game began, fans woke up when he entered the pitch because Totti was a big legend of this club. Maybe he was bigger than the club itself. For me, De Rossi was the real captain of Roma. Sometimes you had the feeling that Totti came before Roma while De Rossi was the real soul of Roma's dressing room".
